Active Directory, Account Locked after password reset

I reset my password and it doesn't work all the time or at all.

If you think your AD account has been locked, please contact the Tech Services Help Desk to have them check and unlock your account.

Typically this happens after entering an incorrect password too many times in a short period or when you have saved passwords on your device and have just reset your password. Devices that have an old password saved may repeatedly attempt to connect, and cause a lockout due to too many incorrect attempts.

Common saved passwords on computers, laptops and smart devices:

  • wireless
  • email
  • mapped network drives
  • printers
