Security, Malicious domain blocking

Since 2014, the Office of Identity, Privacy & Cybersecurity has been proactively blocking malicious domains known to either infect visiting computers, host phishing scams, or otherwise enable malicious network activity.

Users who navigate to a site on this block list will instead see a message from the University of Illinois Office of Identity, Privacy, and Cybersecurity.

If you believe a legitimate site has been blocked like this by mistake, contact the Technology Services Help Desk by email at consult@illinois.edu or by phone at 217-244-7000. They can work with the Security group to have the block lifted or provide more specific reason for maintaining it.
