Kaltura, Downloading media

You can download your original file through mediaspace when you edit properties of the entry.

Can I download my own media?

Yes.
If you want to download the original file for a media entry you own, go to the media and select 'Edit' on the 'Actions' drop down or select the 'Edit' button from your 'My Media' page.
In this view, you will see a downward arrow on the player itself, along the top.

Can I download someone else's media?

Not by default.
Another user would have to add you as a co-editor to that media file in order to download a file or they would have to make the video available for users logged into mediaspace to download.
Adding you as a co-editor is best when collaborating on a video project.  On this page, you will also have the option to replace the media with a new version.
Making the video available to download for anyone logged into mediaspace that can see the video is a much broader sharing option.
