Live event recording and streaming

How can I get an event recorded and/or streamed live at Illinois?
  1. Make a request of CITL to record or live stream your event. CITL may charge based on the nature of the event, keep this in mind. CITL has information at http://citl.illinois.edu/citl-101/conference-services/event-recording-services
  2. You can record the event on your own with a video camera and microphone. The Media Commons at the Undergraduate Library will loan equipment to make this possible.
  3. Consider using Skype for Business to record with a webcam. This allows live participation, capture of a desktop/slides, and the saved file can be uploaded to Kaltura/Mediaspace.  Zoom meetings can also be recorded to cloud.  They will automatically be uploaded to Kaltura.
