If you require accessing U of I Box in China you can do so in one of two ways:

Option 1: Alternate URL

If you have users that need to access Box in China, you can have them access U of I Box using https://app.boxcn.net (please make sure to connect with https). Enter your @illinois.edu email address, and you will be prompted for your NetID and password.

NOTE: When you generate the shared links while logged in to this URL, the shared link will be changed to https://app.boxcn.net/s/  (alphanumeric characters) which will be accessible in China.

Option 2: VPN

Alternatively, you can also use a VPN service. If you require uploading a large number or size of files and folders this option is optimal.

Please navigate to the correct U of I Webstore link (based on your campus location) to download the Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
