Personal Devices, Operating System Re-Image/Reinstallation
Windows 10/11
- Open Settings.
- Select Update & Security.
- Click Recovery.
- Under "Reset this PC," click Get Started.

Android
Due to manufacturer variations, reset steps differ between Android devices. Generally:
- Open Settings.
- Look for "Reset" or "Factory Reset" options.
- Choose the option to reset to factory defaults.
Google provides some information about preparing an Android device for a factory reset: Reset your Android device to factory settings.

macOS
- Access macOS Utilities recovery boot:
- For older devices: Press and hold Command + R during startup.
- For newer devices: Press and hold the Power button during startup.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to reinstall macOS.

iOS/iPadOS
Using a Computer
- Connect your device to a computer.
- Use Finder to complete the reset process.
Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings using a computer.
Using Device Settings
- Open Settings.
- Tap General.
- Select Transfer or Reset.
- Choose Erase All Content and Settings.
