Teams, Call quality issues

My Teams calls are being dropped.

A dropped call is usually caused by either internet connectivity or hardware issues. Check to make sure your internet connection is working. The easiest way to test this is to open an internet browser and try to go to a website. If you have trouble doing that, pages won't load or load slowly, please contact your IT Pro to help troubleshoot that issue.

If you do not have connectivity issues, the problem is likely with the device being used to make calls. Try to log onto another machine with a different device and see if you still have the same issues. If you are able to make calls on another machine without problems, test both the device you were using to make calls (IP phone, USB phone, headset) and your machine separately to try to isolate which is causing the problem.
If the device is the problem, try to update the driver for it. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the device. If the machine is the issue you should also try to update the driver for that device, and if that doesn't work, try reinstalling Teams.
*Especially on Mac machines: make sure you had the device plugged in PRIOR to starting the Teams Client. If you did not, please fully exit then restart Teams with the device plugged in.
If there are issues with the Teams service, information will be posted here.
