General Information

Software metering is used to monitor usage of Windows PC desktop apps with a filename ending in .exe.  View this Microsoft guide for their documentation about software metering.  Follow these steps to view reports on application usage:

  • In the MECM console, navigate to \Monitoring\Overview\Reporting\Reports

  • Search for 'meter'

  • Right-click the desired report and select Run

  • Select the application under 'Rule Name' and desired month, year and collection
    • Contact EPS to request rules for additional managed applications

  • Select 'View Report'
