To provide users with a guide on how to utilize MBRB 1017 podium system for local presentations

On the Crestron touchscreen, touch anywhere to turn on the podium system.

A countdown will appear and disappear when the system is ready.


VIDEO

To present in this room, select Presentation on the left section under the UIC logo.

Press and drag the desired source into the projector window and to the preview monitor.

For most uses it is recommended that you use the provided podium PC

Here we see how the control panel appears when the PC is selected. Note that PC Primary is placed under Projector, and PC Secondary is placed under Preview.

Use the USB port on top of the podium to connect a thumb drive to the room computer.

If you are not using the room computer, connect your laptop using the provided HDMI or USB-C cable (depending on your laptop’s available connections).

Then select "Laptop USB-C" or "Laptop HDMI" and drag to room displays. If you are using the provided HDMI to USB-C cable adapter, select "Laptop HDMI" in the panel.

AUDIO

This room has 5 microphones for use. 1 Podium, 3 handheld wireless microphones, and 1 Lavalier (LAV).

Microphone charging base for room 1017

The microphone volume is already optimized.

If necessary, individual microphones can be adjusted at the Microphone Control tab.

Try not to set them at MAXIMUM unless absolutely necessary.

Speaker volume is already optimized for the room.

If the speaker volume needs to be adjusted, use the master volume control at the top next to the UIC logo.

EXITING INSTRUCTIONS

Turn off the room system when done.

In the top right corner, press “System OFF” and confirm that you want to shut down by pressing the green “Yes, Shutdown” button.

DO NOT shut down the room PC.

Select "Yes, Shutdown" to confirm that you wish to shutdown.

A progress screen will pop up to indicate that the shutdown process has started.
