I was incorrectly charged for printing at a Technology Services printing services printer and would like a refund
How do refunds work with Illini Cash or Banner?Requesting a refund is the same no matter how the document was billed. Log in to https://papercut.ics.illinois.edu and select "Recent Print Jobs." If you do not see your document in the list of recent jobs then click "Filter on" to change the date range of the filter.
When you find the document you would like refunded click "request refund." You then specify the amount you would like refunded and a reason for why you think the refund should be approved. The request will be reviewed and you will receive an email when it is approved or denied.
How a refund amount is processed depends on how the document was billed:
- Banner: your refund will be sent to Banner at the end of the month and appear as acredit in your next statement.
- Illini Cash: your refund will be available as additional printing creditsfor future jobs. The next time you print a document the system will firstdeduct from your refund credits before deducting from your Illini Cash.You will not see the refund in your Illini Cash balance, and you willnot be able to use the refund for other services (cafe credits, vendingmachines, etc).
