Status summary of the Microanalysis lab and associated equipment
Facility Announcements:
- The MicroAnalysis Lab will be closed on campus holidays throughout the year.
- Technicians may not be available at all times, due to vacation or other needs outside of the lab. Please check with the technicians if you have a specific deadline for your results.

Microanalysis Lab Equipment

- ICP-OES -
- We are having a new ICP-OES tentatively installed March 10. ICP samples will not be run at least that week; therefore analysis turn around times will be extended. We appreciate your patience.
- ICP-MS -
- MS Analysis turn around times are also delayed/extended.

- 3FLEX / Surface Area / Physisorption / Chemisorption : Contact scs-microlab@illinois.edu to schedule training. ChemFom is not used for this instrument. Staff can also run samples for clients, instead of clients running the samples.
