EDDIE/Web Intelligence Rich Client - Formatting - Conditional Formatting Using Alerts

How to use conditional formatting in Web Intelligence.

You can set up conditions that will automatically format the data in your Web Intelligence documents to alert you to, for example, when values fall below or above specific thresholds, or when certain strings appear.

  • Make sure you are in Design mode (ALT+2).
  • In the Analyze section of the Toolbar, click More and select Formatting Rules.

  • In the Create Rule window, you'll name your rule, add the condition (Expense Amt >= $5,000,000, in this example), and configure the formatting of the cell contents for cells that meet your condition.
