Web Intellignece Rich Client - Correcting File Association

How to correct Web Intelligence File Association.

If initially launching Web Intelligence Rich Client from EDDIE does not produce the System name on the login screen, you may need to correct the file association for .wid files on your computer.

  • Go to the Windows Settings menu and click on Apps.

  • In the menu on the left, select Default apps. Then, scroll down and select Choose default apps by file type.

  • Scroll down to the entry for .wid file.

  • Click Choose a default, and select WebIRichClient.exe.
