UI New Hire - Unable to claim your NetID, how to?
If you receive an error during the NetID claiming process, try logging out of the UI New Hire system, wait 10 minutes, then try again. Sometimes there are data synchronization delays between the Banner enterprise system (where employee data is stored) and midPoint (the system behind the scenes that maintains NetIDs and passwords) that can cause this behavior.
If you continue to have problems after 10 minutes, please submit a ticket for further assistance.
