2FA, Installing the Duo Mobile app
We recommend you use a smartphone as your primary 2nd factor device. The Duo Mobile app allows you to approve your connections at any time with just a swipe and a click on your smartphone. If you are setting up Duo for the first time, we recommend installing the Duo Mobile app on your mobile device first.
(1) Install Duo Mobile app | (2) Get Started with Duo | (3) Add a Device | (4) Activate Duo Mobile |
- In your device’s app store, search for Duo Mobile.
- Download the app.
- Launch the Duo Mobile app.
- If the Duo Mobile app requests permission to send you notifications, we recommend allowing this.
- You may need to Accept the License Agreement before continuing for the first time.
