This training is required for anyone that serves on a System Office search committee.
Learning Objectives
After viewing the training video, hiring managers and search committee members should:
- Have a deeper understanding of the System Offices’ search process.
- Learn tips and strategies to find the best candidates.
- Understand their role as a search committee member.
- Identify ways to avoid biases.
- Implement best practices for interviewing.
- Become aware of federal and state laws that impact recruiting and selection.
Note:You do not need to view the training each time you are on a search committee, but will be expected to take a refresher every two years.
