Moodle Activity Hub - Quick Start Guide

The Moodle Activity Hub inside Canvas allows users to add Moodle LTI tools directly to their Canvas modules, with no need to manage a full Moodle course. This guide will help you get started.

1. First, you'll need a Canvas course site. If you don't have one, you can request one at https://go.illinois.edu/sra.
2. Once you have your Canvas site, there are three methods to open the Moodle Activity Hub. 
   1. Module menu method (recommended):
      1. Add a new module or navigate to an existing one.
      2. Click the three dots at the top of the module.
      3. Select Moodle Activity Hub.
         
         
   2. Assignment Group menu method:
      1. On the Assignments page, click the three dots at the top of an Assignment Group.
      2. Select Moodle Activity Hub.
         
         
   3. External Tool menu method:
      1. Click the + in a module.
         
      2. Choose External Tool from the drop-down menu.
         
      3. Select Moodle Activity Hub from the list.
         
         
         
3. Once the Activity Hub is open, browse the categories on the left to find activities.
   
4. Click on an activity to see more information about it.
   
5. To add to your Canvas site, name your activity in the text box in the bottom-right corner and click Add. It will be added to the module or Assignment Group where you accessed the Hub.
