UAFR - Labor Redistributions on FY26 State Funds During the Lapse Period
During the lapse period, labor redistributions can still be processed against the 100026 state fund. However, only certain types of labor charges are eligible. This article provides guidance on which state fund to use for your labor redistributions during the lapse period. The allowability is dependent on both the timeframe of the pay event that is being redistributed and the employee type.
Frequently Used Terms
Please review the following frequently used terms before using the tables below.
- Biweekly (BW) Employees: Employees who receives pay every two weeks.
- Monthly (MN) Employees: Employees who receives pay once a month.
- Fiscal Year (FY): The University of Illinois fiscal year begins July 1 and ends June 30.
- 9/12 Employees: Employees who have an employee classification (eclass) of AA, AB, BC, or BD.
- Non 9/12 Employees: Employees who have an employee classification (eclass) other than AA, AB, BC, or BD.

Labor Redistribution Deadlines
To ensure a labor redistribution posts during August business without any errors, the following parameters must be met by 5:00 PM on Friday, 09/04/2026:
- The redistribution must be dated with an August posting date, and
- The redistribution must be at disposition 60 (i.e., fully processed by the user) by 5:00 PM on 9/04/2026.
