ClassTech, Teams or Zoom in the Classroom
How to assist an instructor with launching and using Skype on the resident PC in the classroom.
Find Microsoft Teams or Zoom on the Classroom PC
- Click on the Windows Start Button.
- Select All Apps.
- Select the app you want (either Microsoft Teams or Zoom).
USB Webcams with microphones are currently installed in all General Assignment classrooms for use with the resident PC. Instructors can also request a wired USB lapel microphone.
- Microsoft Teams and Zoom are already installed on all classroom PCs.
- Some rooms have an audio bridge where the microphone for the classroom can be used with the PC. Here is a list of ClassTech, Audio Bridge classrooms.
- In HyFlex classrooms, the classroom microphone can be used with a laptop via an extra USB cable as well as in Technology Enhanced Classrooms, Temple Hoyne Buell Hall 134.
