University of Illinois IT Pros leveraging MECM, hosted by Technology Services' Endpoint Services team
General Information
Training:
- Endpoint Services hosts a monthly MECM Training series on the last Friday of each month from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Each training session covers a different topic related to MECM and is structured as a 30-minute demonstration followed by 30 minutes of open Q&A. Participants can download a .ics calendar entry for the meeting at https://go.illinois.edu/MECMTrainingInvite. Updates, reminders, and new topics/agendas are sent to the EPM-SCCM-L mail list.

- Since the campus' MECM environment is managed by EPS, many of the administrative MECM configurations described in the course are only accessible to EPS. That being said, understanding the concepts described in the course will help with your unit's overall use of the many features available in the product, and will also simplify troubleshooting any issues.
- The following sections under the '1. Getting Started with SCCM' section can be skipped: 'Upgrading SCCM from previous versions' through 'Installing SCCM'.
