How can I clear my browser's cache and cookies?

Please be sure to use as the direct URL for UIC Blackboard. The former address ( is still operable, but it is no longer our primary address.

Reporting performance statistics

If you are still experiencing slowness in Blackboard after clearing your cache and cookies, please follow these steps and submit the form below:

  1. Click here to display Blackboard application server data Copy and paste the results for "Name" and "CPU Load Average" into the ticket.
  2. Click here to test the website speed of Copy and paste the results received for "Load Time" into the ticket.
  3. Please provide as much information as possible in the reply to the ticket(your UIC netID, browser, what network connection you are using, is your network connection wired/wireless.)

These numbers will help us send a more detailed ticket to our service provider.
