University Bursar - How can I request a credit for a refundable fee?

Urbana-Champaign

Urbana-Champaign does not have refundable fees. For a detailed description of all fees, please visit the Urbana-Champaign Office of the Registrar.

Chicago

Students who want to opt out of the Student-to-Student and/or Sustainability fees can do so by making a request to the Office of the Registrar. For a detailed description of the fees, please visit the Tuition and Fees website.

Springfield

Refundable fees at UIS are processed by the Registrar Office of Records and Registration. Students who want to opt out of the Student-to-Student Grant Fee ($4) and Green Fee ($5) can do so by contacting the their office:

• On-campus students must come in person to complete the waiver form. Springfield Records and Registration office hours of operation are from 8:30-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Online or Peoria campus students can email the Registrar Office of Records and Registration at registrar@uis.edu with their name, UIN, and state that they are online students.
