ATLAS FormBuilder - Making a Copy of a Question

This document explains how to create a copy of an existing question in ATLAS FormBuilder.

Step 1 – Navigate to the dashboard of the form that contains your desired question, and open the contents editing page by clicking Edit Form Contents under Quick Links, or by clicking Manage in the header of the Form Contents panel.

Step 2 – Select a phase containing the question you'd like to copy in the Global Settings panel (1). Next, select your desired question in the Form Preview panel (2), and click the Copy button that appears in the Form Contents panel (3).

Step 3 – A window will open containing the layout of the question in text format. Click the Copy to Clipboard button to copy the text (you may also select and copy the text manually), and close the window.

Step 4 – Open the contents editing page of the form that you wish to receive the the copied question, and select your desired section (1). Click Paste under the Form Contents, and select Paste Question from the options that appear (2).

Step 5 – A window will open that contains a large text box field. Paste the text layout of your copied question into the box, and click the Paste button to complete the operation.

A copy of your question will be created and ready to use!
