Cloud Dashboard, Overview
The Cloud Dashboard is a one-stop enrollment portal for cloud-based applications managed by Technology Services. It can be used by students, faculty, and staff on the Illinois campus to enroll for Google Apps @ Illinois, or by eligible users on all three campuses to signup for the U of I Box service.
How To Use the Cloud Dashboard
As a campus staff member or student, you can use the Cloud Dashboard to enable or disable your access to various cloud-based applications, including Google Apps and Box.
To access the cloud dashboard, visit https://cloud-dashboard.illinois.edu and log in with your NetID and campus password. After you have completed the log in process, you'll see a list of applications that you have access to manage through the Cloud Dashboard interface. To enable your account for a cloud application, simply press the "On" button. Depending on the service, you may be asked to agree to a vendor-specific Terms of Service.
You can navigate from the Cloud Dashboard to your enabled cloud applications simply by clicking the name of the service.
In order to disable your account for a cloud application, simply click the "Off" button. You will be asked to confirm the request, and then your account will be disabled. Note that your account will not be deleted, and no data will be lost, however you will not be able to access the cloud application account. You can re-enable the account at any time by pressing the "On" button if you become affiliated again.
