Check

Teams should already be installed on Vet Med computers.  You can quickly verify with the following steps.

Windows: 

1. Click the Windows Key or start typing in the Type here to Search box
2. Type Microsoft Teams. 
3. The app should show up at the top as an App. 
4. Launch the program and ensure you can login.
5. 

MacOS

1. Go into Finder
2. Click on Applications
3. Microsoft Teams should be listed.
4. Launch the app and confirm you can login.

Install

Windows

1. Click the Windows Key or start typing in the Type here to Search box
2. Type Software Center and launch app.
3. Click on Applications in the nav bar.
4. Click on Office 365 Professional Plus x64
5. Click Install
6. Note:  If Uninstall or Repair show, you already have the program installed.

MacOS

1. Go into Finder
2. Click on Applications
3. Click on Managed Software Center
4. Click on Microsoft Office 365
5. Click Install
6. Note:  If Remove shows, you already have the program installed.

If you run into problems, reach out to IT@vetmed.illinois.edu and indicate you are trying to install Microsoft Teams, indicate the Ptag or cvm- number of your computer, it's current building and room number location, and when would be best for us to remotely access your computer or stop by.
