Kaltura, Record a Zoom meeting with two feeds

To produce a recording with two feeds in Kaltura (such as camera and slide show), record a Zoom meeting and record to cloud, with Active Speaker and Shared Screen selected.
All Zoom meetings that are recorded to cloud through your University log in will automatically be transferred to Kaltura.  They will show up in your My Media when you log into mediaspace.illinois.edu.  If there are multiple feeds recorded, they will be available for viewing and users will have the option of setting their arrangement. You can capture your camera feed and the desktop, most commonly showing your lecture slides, and have both available to students.  The video player can show a maximum of two video feeds.

Check the recording settings.  Go to https://illinois.zoom.us and click the "Sign in" button. Click the Settings button on the left-hand side of the screen, and then the Recordings tab at the top. Only two feeds can be displayed in Kaltura's video player.  Select only Active speaker and Shared screen.  See screenshot.

Choose Active Speaker and Shared Screen in Zoom settings.

Next you will need to start a Zoom meeting, even if you're the only attendee, and Record to Cloud (Zoom, Recording to cloud or Illinois Media Space ).

When the recording is transferred to Kaltura, and you share it with students, they will see two feeds, with the ability to choose the arrangement, one big and one small, or both side-by-side.

When your students play the video in mediaspace.illinois.edu or Canvas, it should look like this:
