Most university students, faculty, and staff are able to create a U of I Box account via the Cloud Dashboard.

Retirees and OLLI scholars are not eligible for U of I Box accounts.  However, they may sign up for a personal Box account and collaborate with U of I Box users.

On its own, Emeritus status does not provide U of I Box eligibility.  If a retiree is performing work for a department, the department will need enter an appointment in Banner.  Once the appointment is in Banner, the retiree will become eligible for a U of I Box account.

Extra help and sponsored accounts may be eligible for U of I Box accounts with a documented statement of the reason and type of work the user will perform with the account.
