This page contains information about how to create a Google Apps @ Illinois email account, how to log in, and how to connect your account to a mobile device.
If you are an undergraduate student or a transfer student, you are eligible to create a Google Apps @ Illinois account.
If you choose to create a Google Apps @ Illinois account, you will have the ability to use online tools like Google Docs and Sites to collaborate with classmates or store assignments online.

- Go to the Campus Email Setup, Step 1: Select your Partner Computing Services page.
- Log in using your NetID and Active Directory (AD) password.
- Choose the Select Partner Services radio button.
- Check the box next to Set up a Google Apps @ Illinois account.
- Click the Go to Step 2 button.
- Under Deliver my official campus email to:, click the button next to My Google Apps @ Illinois email account.
- Click the Finish button.
The easiest way to access your Google Apps @ Illinois account is through the secure web interface located at g.illinois.edu.
Because you need only a computer with an Internet connection and a web browser, no additional configuration is necessary.
Note: The first time that you log in to your Google Apps @ Illinois account, you will be required to accept the Google Terms of Service; this set of Terms are associated with Google services and are different from the University of Illinois ones you agreed to in the web page. This is the last set of Terms of Service required to accept in order to use Google Apps @ Illinois.
