SANDI - Patient Dashboard (Home Screen)

The Patient Dashboard is the "home" screen. Here you can lookup your client/patient account and get a wholistic view of the patients care. There are many options to drill further into detailed records, add a patient, register a visit, etc.

Patient Dashboard Overview

The Patient Dashboard is designed to provide an overall view of the patients health information at a glance.

The quick reference bar is allows quick access to both SANDI and out side applications and sites.

This contains multiple links to outside resources used frequently by Customer Service Representatives (CSR)

Pricing

Procedure Price Calculation allows the input of a procedure code the procedure price including things like tax. This can be run for an existing client, which includes discounts, or a non-client. Full Documentation is here:  SANDI - Procedure Price Calculation (Current and Non-Client) Search

rDVM Search

This allows you to search for referring veterinarians and clinics.

Client, Patient and Visit Information Boxes

InfoBoxes

  1. The Client, Patient and Visit Information Boxes stay static/viewable in most SANDI screens.
  2. There are additional options available under each by clicking on the down arrow.
  3. You can edit information by selecting the edit button (Pencil/paper icon).

Client Information

  • This info box displays information such as account number, name, phone and balance. 
  • Status (Will display in red when active) - is used to flag an important detail such as, delinquent account, special consideration such as awesome client, Challenging Client, CVM Employee, etc.

Drop-down Menu:

  • Contains many options including
    • Adding a new patient
    • Printing, address labels, Rx Adress lables and and invoices.
    • You can also take a payment or make an adjustment.
    • Finally you can view the SANDI - Charges Report. which contains all charges, including inpatient charges, alongside each other in the Charges Report. Payments and adjustments , discounts and taxes are also in this report.

  • Client data can be updated here and select Save to commit changes As previously mentioned, the Client, Patient and Visit information boxes remain visible as you migrate to other screens.

Patient Information

  • This info box displays information such as name, medical record number, breed, sex, age, color, rDVM and weight.
  • If the patient is consider inpatient their name will have a blue (I)in parenthesis, at the end. 
  • You can select weight and add/view weight and body condition. history over time.
    • A graph of weight, over time, is displayed.

    Drop-down Menu:

    The Patient box contains allows you to:

    • Register a new visit, add a new patient or switch to a different patient on the client's account.
    • Print options include Check-in Sheets, Consent Forms and Patient labels.
    • Finally you can admit or discharge a patient.

    Visit Information

    • This info box displays information such as visit number and number, admit date, reason for visit, faculty and coordinator and rDVM information.
    • The Visit Number is important when using the Nova in the ER. More info here: How to run a NOVA Test 

    Drop-down Menu:

    • When there is no Visit registered the Visit box will be empty, first image, and give you the ability to Register a visit.
    • Open Visits have the option of close or reopen

    To open an additional Visit select the + icon.

    1. You can scroll up/down.
    2. You can sort on any column heading by clicking it. 
    3. Each information box has an arrow à in the right corner that will open up the full information screen.
