Cash Handling Level II: Managing Change Funds Compliance Course

Before you can take this course, you must first complete Cash Handling Level 1: Cash Handling Fundamentals. Cash Handling Fundamentals only needs to be completed once and is not required on an annual basis.

This compliance course is required for all Change Fund custodians and provides detailed information about managing change funds. This course is also the second course in the Cash Handling Certificate Track for those taking the full Certificate Track (prerequisite: Level I Cash Handling Fundamentals Certificate course).

Topics covered in this course include establishing a Change Fund, modifying Change Funds, responsibilities of a Change Fund custodian, submitting a Change Fund Verification, and completing the Change Fund Annual Renewal. There will be a graded assessment at the end of the course, and you must pass the assessment with a minimum score of 80%.

This compliance course must be completed by all Change Fund custodians on an annual basis by the deadline of July 15.

Change Fund custodians must also forward their certificate of completion to the University Bursar. See the section below for more information.
