Sign Language -Interpretation Services Available for Clients

Purpose/ Applicability: Client Requests Interpretation services for hearing loss.

Scope: Clients requesting interpretation services related to hearing loss for communications during appointments.

DRES: Disability Resources and Education Services

Procedure:

  1. If a request for interpreter has been made fill out the “Request for Interpreter” form on the DRES website :Request for interpreter form
  2. Provide as much information as possible.
  3. When possible, place the request at least two weeks prior to appointment.
  4. The VTH Business office will advise of appropriate FOP to use when acquiring the interpretive services.
