Internet Explorer 7 (Windows) - Clearing Cache and Cookies

This document explains how to clear the cache and cookies in Internet Explorer 7.

Internet Explorer 7 - Windows

  1. Select Tools » Internet Options.

    Tools > Internet Options

  2. Click on the General tab and then the Delete... button.

    General is the first option in the top menu, and Delete is in the bottom right and highlighted.

  3. Click on the Delete files... button.

    Temporary Internet Files is at the top of the screen and Delete files... is highlighted.

  4. Click the Yes button.

    The Warning states "Are you sure you want to delete all temporary Internet Explorer files?"

  5. Click on the Delete cookies... button.

    Delete Cookies is highlighted in the second section.

  6. Click the Yes button.

    "Are you sure you want to delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files folder?"
