cPanel, Softaculous mail messages marked as SPAM

Messages from your cPanel (web.illinois.edu) website may accidentally be captured by the spam control system. Here's how to fix that.

Softaculous notifies the owner of web.illinois.edu-based web hosting accounts of various activities, including installations, script deletions and pending updates.

However, sometimes email from Softaculous is marked as SPAM. To make sure the email is delivered to you, follow these instructions for obtaining a SPAM digest: Email, Spam Control, How to release a message from quarantine or digest

Once you have a digest, find the messages from Softaculous that were marked as SPAM. They will typically be from an email address like yourcpanelaccountname@web.illinois.edu.

Click on the "Not Spam" link.

Now the messages from Softaculous will be delivered to you.
